I have been anxiously awaiting this story, and it didn't disappoint. Both Dane and Scout had a past filled with loss, pain and trauma, but they were always there for each other. The author did a wonderful job in handling the sensitive topic of rape, never minimizing the effects or outcomes it has on a victim's life. I was proud of the strength and support Dane gave Scout, and how he stood up to Atti while still being respectful of his feelings. This was a heartfelt and emotional read. I hope that this series will continue as I would like to see Atti and Avery, as well as Dane and Scout with their HEA!

Wasn't expecting to find this story. The first book was great this one I think even better. Still a few typing errors but not too distracting.
I am so happy we were able to hear about Dane and Scout. This book was just as good as This Love and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good love story.
I wanted to love this book, but I didn't. I wish I could put my finger on why, but I can't. I just know that it didn't quite do it for me. It wasn't bad at all, it just wasn't a book that I couldn't put down.
Beautiful Broken was a good book. I really liked Scout & Dane. There was chemistry between them and I felt like I could relate to them. There was not a lot of build up of the other characters so I didn't feel connected to any other character. But that's OK, because this was Scout & Dane's story. And it was sweet and steamy. I would recommend this story to anyone who likes adult romance.
This was a great book!! I loved Atticus and Averys story and the author didn't disappoint with Scout and Danes. With that being said, I was a little surprised with Atticus attitude towards Scout and Dane. I mean he basically pawned her off on him numerous times over the years and then gets upset when they find what they need in each other. Other than that this was a great book and I'd definitely recommend it!!!
Loved Scout. Really felt her emotions throughout this book. I had a LOT of problems with Dane. He was selfish, cowardly and only seemed to make changes when he was forced into them by others. I know many will love him, but I found him hard to stomach at times. I'm also not sure I truly believe that he's a changed man, or that it happened because of his will, instead of his fear of losing Scout. However, if there are future books in this series, I'd still consider reading them.

While Dane was not my favorite character in the first book, This Love, (he acts like a jerk at times to Avery), we get a better insight into him in this one. Both Dane and Scout are fully developed in their story, and we get to learn all about their past and what makes them tick. The author does a good job of crafting a love story around two very imperfect people who are right for each other.

Could be read as a stand-alone although I highly recommend the first book about Scout’s brother Atticus and his love Avery.
