This story is more about people around the main person instead of his travels and him, most of this book was about his friends and kept going back in time then jumping forward without warning, or this story would start in one time then jump back mid telling then return just after, the author needs to get back to the telling of the main character and stay there. All that's happening now is a confusing mish mash that doesn't tell you much about the main. Character. It's totally different then. The first book. Gliding over the main characters thoughts and action and speeding threw time following his friends or others actions, I'm highly disappointed in this author. 2/10

The series can't quite decide whether it is adventure or saga. Is this Andy's story or the story of the land? Sagas are hard to do. Every viewpoint change slows a book down and therefore ideally should start with a bang and each view character has to be compelling. Freyda the vampire girl (now with amnesia) didn't do it for me.
This was a fun read for me, though there were a couple parts that I had a hard time following they just kind of seemed to jump forward, but all in all I really enjoyed this book.
I have immensely enjoyed this series and intend to read the rest of the the books, I only have one issue. At times, the details bog the story down and I have to slog through. I am rewarded every time I do.
Good series. Epic story arc and resolves itself nicely. The series is VERY good with a star redacted because of the frequent jumps from near-past to present story time and a small bit of deus ex machina. That stated, it's easy to get over the jumps and enjoy the narrative. Buy the series and you'll read it a few times.
I preferred the original term of true blood or just dragon. Using the term weredragon or were in general tends to be more associated with creates that are forced to do regular changes against their will. It makes the dragon sound like a lessor one not a greater one.
This book does involve our hero, BUT, it primarily revolves around the supporting characters and gives information on the motives of the people, major characters, countries and political factions that are becoming entangled with Alex.
A good book, but I felt it was more filler/background info, and whilst worthwhile reading, it still left you a little lacking as the story didn’t feel continuous with the previous books.
I rily like this story it kept me of any other activity untill i finished the book... The book does have it's flaws tho like the fact that sometimes the story switches chacacters in the midle of another's storry with out reason, and i know it's for exposition and such but for gods sake give the reader a warning before switching characters it get's messy wen you read it...
I don't know how i was able to read this book and it's predesesors maybe i'm just to derpy to drop a book i'm interested in but.... in case you dint get it yet "Book is dificult to Read you have been warned" other than that is a good read and i hope the next one is beter...
